The stock fan nuts get on the threads? The water pump pulley face is much thicker on the UR pulley, this causes the threads of the studs to only make it about halfway through the nuts. I've asked around and apparently this is ok (and I used blue loctite to be safe), but this is also causing the fan to be a little too close for comfort to my SPL radiator oil lines. I had to trim the OEM shroud because it was hitting the fan it's so far forward. Thinking I may shave the face of the pulley (at a machine shop) to get the clearance to stock. Think this would adversely affect the pulley? Or I may just ditch it all together and go E fan. Thoughts?
